Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for services provided by Maverix Technical Services ("we," "us," "our"). This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.
Our commitment is to provide high-quality technical services. We incur significant costs in preparation for scheduled jobs, including material procurement, labour allocation, and scheduling. Our refund policy reflects these commitments.
1. Non-Refundable Deposit
To secure a booking and initiate the procurement of materials, Maverix Technical Services requires a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 60% of the total quoted price before any work commences.
This deposit is non-refundable because it covers the initial costs we incur and secures your slot in our work schedule. By paying the deposit, you acknowledge and agree that this amount will not be refunded under the circumstances outlined in Section 2 (Client Cancellations).
2. Client Cancellations
2.1. Cancellation Before Work Commences If you choose to cancel your scheduled service after paying the deposit but before our technicians have started the work, the 60% deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded.
2.2. Cancellation After Work Commences If you choose to cancel the service after work has already begun, the 60% deposit remains non-refundable. Furthermore, you will be liable for the cost of all labour performed and any additional materials used or ordered up to the point of cancellation. This may result in you being billed for the remaining 40% of the quoted price, depending on the progress of the work.
3. Cancellation by Maverix Technical Services

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a scheduled job for reasons within our control (e.g., unforeseen staff or resource unavailability), we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your 60% deposit in full.

If we are forced to cancel a job due to the Client's actions or inaction (e.g., providing an unsafe work environment, failure to provide necessary access to the property, breach of our terms), the 60% deposit will be forfeited.
 
4. Service Dissatisfaction and Workmanship Guarantee
We do not offer refunds for services that have already been completed. Our focus is on ensuring the work is performed to professional standards.

Workmanship Warranty: As stated in our Terms and Conditions, we provide a warranty on our workmanship. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the service performed, please contact us within [e.g., 7 days] of the service completion date.

Rectification First: Our primary commitment is to rectify any issues. We will schedule a visit to inspect the work and correct any defects covered by our warranty at no additional charge.

Discretionary Refunds: A refund for services rendered is not a standard procedure. Any partial or full refund in a case of service dissatisfaction is at the sole discretion of Maverix Technical Services management and will only be considered after all attempts to rectify the work have been made.
 
5. Refunds for Parts and Materials
Issues arising from defective parts or materials supplied by us are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in processing a warranty claim with the manufacturer, but we do not provide direct cash refunds for defective parts. The manufacturer's decision on the claim is final.
6. Processing of Approved Refunds
In the rare event that a refund is approved by our management, it will be processed within 14-21 business days. Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment.
